About the Clinician
Kenisha Bakayoko, MSW, LCSW
Do you wish you could go back to a time when self-doubt and being overwhelmed weren’t a part of everyday life? Do you want the tools to manage stress, anxiety, and fear?
You’ve come to the right place.
I’m Kenisha and I help women of color just like you; Ones that have it within them to feel whole and thrive again but need the right support to get there. I help my clients find happiness and feel whole again by equipping them with the tools they need to understand themselves better and adjust to life’s changes.
More About Kenisha,
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Jersey. I have been working in the social work field for 9 years. My work experience includes providing outpatient therapy for women, in-home therapy for families and youth, providing parent education/skills, and working in community mental health agencies including managing a crisis house for adults.
How We Will Work Together
Many of today’s solutions for Anxiety are one-size-fits-all, leading so many to feel stuck in an endless cycle. I know that your circumstances are unique, so I tailor therapy based on your needs and personal goals.
Through our work together, you’ll have a toolbox that will shield you through life as it takes its course.
I use therapeutic frameworks that include trauma-informed practices, mindfulness practices, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and solution-focused therapy.
I am dedicated to helping people gain clarity and inner peace.
I get it! I’ve lived it myself and understand what it is like to balance never-ending roles including being a mom, a wife, a career-orientated person, etc.
I have devoted myself to serving people of color and promoting healing within our community.
When we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist. You’ll get someone who truly understands what you’re going through.
